Business Continuity / Security Exposure Consulting
When an incident disrupts operations, effective response depends on having staff trained and ready and action plans in place.

Whether the incident involves a disgruntled employee a power disruption, or a loss of computer data, the company’s life is in the hands of individuals who must work together under extreme time constraints. Not having a plan could prove fatal to an organization’s financial stability and reputation.

BEI Security has extensive experience in preparing companies to respond efficiently and effectively to emergency incidents. BEI Security applies sound managerial techniques designed to cope with a crisis situation, while simultaneously accomplishing organizational goals. BEI Security’s approach involves:

  • Readiness – Based on formation of a planning team, performing a hazard analysis and a capability assessment and initiate a risk reduction program.
  • Response – Placing both procedural and physical plans into effect for the rapid response of any disruption using measures formed by the planning teams, federal, state and local guidelines.
  • Recovery – Recovery of systems planning, testing the plan, review and updates and a post incident critique.
BEI provides individualized expertise and services to solve any issue that may be a threat to a client’s security.

Tenant and visitor access control, security staffing, policies and procedures, material handling, deliveries, storage and other building management issues can be addressed.

BEI Security helps companies determine what kind of security is needed, whether it should be in-house or out-sourced, the size of the staff and to whom the group should report. We can assess and compare the costs of in-house and outsourced staff, and evaluate your current staff’s size, performance and effectiveness, experience and training needs.

Education and Training
BEI Security provides customized training programs as per your state’s requirements for security officers (whether they are contract or in-house) and on such topics as security force management, security operations, security system administration, employee awareness and crisis management / communications. BEI also provides facility-specific training manuals for the security team and disaster management team members.

BEI develops tailored manuals, guides, implementation documents and crisis management plans for each client. These issues affect all personnel; the materials address the requirements and roles not only of the security department, but related units, management and employees.
